The best thing about Bolero is that it is no ordinary stripe. For us, the way that Bolero plays with positive and negative space is simply perfection. The off-white lines of dots and the double lines in between are formed by the beautiful color surrounding these shapes. This approach to shapes is that of a wood carving, where the pattern is actually the negative space and in this case the ground of the fabric. This sort of trickery is what makes you look twice at this print and love it for its playfulness and the thoughtful approach behind it’s design.
