Here Comes Fall!

I am not one to complain about summer almost being over. My grandmother, Apple, loves the phrase "I have to get going," and she uses it about five times a day. So, let’s get going and savor every last moment of the season while gearing up for fall. The summer heritage emails have been a mix of nostalgia and inspiration for me, and we have a few more in the pipeline. What I enjoy most about looking back is embracing the memories and adding a new twist. The smallest tweak can make all the difference in anything creative. This year, I took all of our white duvet covers and switched them out with colorful, patterned ones made from our most beloved prints. Talk about giving a bedroom more charm and sophistication in one fell swoop!

All the years I spent planning my perfect outfit for the first day of school have me in high shopping mode at the moment. Although I’m no longer scouring Benetton's sweater section, I am scheming fall products. We have launched the magical Palm Grove design, and it’s finding its way into many designers’ schemes for warm climates, from Florida to the Bahamas. I’ll be heading back to Florida again this March and can’t wait to see some installations in person.

Speaking of back to school, our Oso and Me grasscloth for children's rooms is a collaboration dear to my heart.
