A CFA (cutting for approval) is a small piece of wallpaper from the actual dye lot that you will be receiving. Whether to order one or not is optional. This piece serves as a confirmation of pattern and color. Once you approve the CFA, if you have chosen to order one, we can ship your order. • As you probably know, Sister Parish fabrics and wallpapers are primarily handscreened at a mill. When we create new inventory of a print, the mill fulfills our order by creating between 50 and 100 yards of fabric or wallpaper all at one time - that yardage is called a "lot".  
• The dye that is mixed and applied to the fabric or paper to create the print on that lot is specific to that set of 50-100 yards of fabric or wallpaper.
• When we sell all the yardage in that lot, and need to order another 50-100 yards for our inventory, the dye is mixed again to be applied to the fabric or paper. Of course, there is a formula for the dye that is used to achieve the colors for each specific print so it is the same each time, but as this is largely an artisan process, subtle variations in color may occur between lots. So, for example, one dye lot of Burmese Seafoam might be a little lighter or a little darker than another dye lot of Burmese Seafoam because they are from different production orders. 
• Therefore, each lot is assigned a specific number so we can always tell you how much yardage is left in one dye lot, and how much is in another. This way, any subtle mis-matches in color are avoided by assuring that all of your yardage is ordered from only one dye lot for your project.

Yes! Sometimes we do run out of a particular sample temporarily, but we typically have ample sample inventory on hand. Reach our to customerservice@sisterparishdesign.com if you need help processing an "Out of Stock" sample order.

We are not currently offering any home collection products at this time. On special occasions we will offer custom product so make sure you are on our mailing list.

• We send our orders via USPS, FedEx and UPS. Anything in stock will ship in 1-3 business days.
• Any item that is back ordered will ship within the product's lead time stated on its product page. When your order ships, a shipment confirmation with a tracking number will be sent to the email address entered at checkout.
• When shipping “Ground,” packages are usually delivered within 1-3 business days of shipment if on the east coast, and within 5-7 days if shipped to the west coast. 
• Fabric, wallpaper, sample, and swatch orders will ship within a week of purchase. We always aim to ship these as soon as possible, but if you need swatches urgently please email customerservice@sisterparishdesign.com and we can help.

• Sister Parish Design takes immense pride in our products, and we are confident that our products are of upstanding and satisfactory quality. However, please be aware that we can not guarantee against color fading, shrinkage, or wear as this is natural for fabric. 
• We will not accept returns on fabric or wallpaper unless the product contains a manufacturer's defect such as flawed patterning, incorrect color, incorrect quantity. 
• We will not accept returns on cut fabric or wallpaper regardless of critical flaws. Ensure that you carefully inspect your product for flaws before cutting. All fabric and wallpaper is inspected carefully before it is shipped, however final responsibility for confirming an order has no critical flaws rests with the customer.
• Email us at customerservice@sisterparishdesign.com within 5 business days of receipt to address any flaws. Please include your order number and images if possible. 
• Please store your yardage safely. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur to yardage put into storage before it is pulled for final use.
• We do not offer for returns for products that have suffered damage from mold or pets
• Please note that there will be a 25% restocking fee when items are returned. If returned after the 2-week time period, a refund cannot be issued.

• To receive a refund for your purchase (less the original shipping cost), all items must be returned to Sister Parish within 2 weeks of the date received.  Please note that there will be a 25% restocking fee when items are returned. If returned after the 2-week time period, a refund cannot be issued. All returned items must be in original packaging and in resalable condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost and must include tracking.  Please email the tracking number to us at customerservice@sisterparishdesign.com  along with your Original Order # so we may process your refund. SP fabrics have been used reliably for upholstery for years. Typically, SP fabrics do not need to be backed for upholstery, but that choice is up to the designer and the customer. SP does not provide backing services.

• DEFEND+ Protective Coating is a cleanable, durable, water and oil repellent finish, that is cured onto the fibre while still retaining the original textured, fabric-like surface characteristics, breathability and hand of the fabric.
• The DEFEND+ finish also incorporates antimicrobial properties, which inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungus on the fabric.
