Summer Heritage Series: Apple's
Apple's
Almost everything in my grandmother Apple's shop is unique. To her, curation and shopkeeping have always been rooted in having a shop that sells “something very different that nobody else has, something whimsical.” Apple has been a shopkeeper since 1978, when she opened her first store on Newbury Street in Boston, pioneering the phrase “country chic.” Today, her store in Islesboro, Maine, attracts like-minded customers around the world.
Apple’s store is one of a kind where you never know what will strike your fancy. While we cannot transport her shop to you, we can share some of the prints you may find there.
