At Sister Parish Design, the rich heritage of our company is threaded through a matriarchal lineage of creative and business-minded women, beginning with my grandmother, Sister Parish herself. We cherish the opportunity to work with other female founded brands, so when we had the opportunity to create a capsule collection of shoes with our friends at Artemis Design Co. we knew we couldn’t say no! At both brands, we share a love of design and craftsmanship coupled with a fresh take on classic style. Our bond stretches even further as Artemis Founder, Millicent Armstrong is actually a cousin of mine! You could say our collaboration together was truly a Match Made in Heaven. With all proceeds from this collection having been donated to The New School, this collaboration was meaningful in so many ways.
Milicent and I are huge admirers of each other’s brands, and we had so much fun collaborating on this limited edition collection of fabulous slippers and loafers. Each shoe was handcrafted in Turkey using our beloved Burma performance fabric but what made this collaboration really special is that all proceeds from the sale were donated to The New School to benefit the next generation of designers!
We are amazed at the response this collection had, with our women’s shoes selling out in less than 24 hours!
