The Litchfield Guide
Litchfield, Connecticut is the home to our Sister Parish studio and so many other gems. It's beautiful, the architecture is stunning, and there are a number of independent shops to explore. If you're visiting this summer or later this year, don't miss this guide with all of my recommendations!
Where To Stay

An Auberge property and one of our favorite stays in Washington, CT, we've never had a bad time at the Mayflower (don't miss the spa!)
The cutest hotel in Salisbury and a short drive to Litchfield
Next door to our studio, the Abner has delicious food and is right on Litchfield's historic strip
A restored, 3-acre estate, Belden House is just across the street from our studio in historic Litchfield
Shops and Showrooms
A fabulous homewares shop right in historic Litchfield
One of my FAVORITE home goods stores in New Preston, a short drive from Litchfield
I can't walk into this store without buying something for my kids, a true fantasy world

Also in historic Litchfield and a shop I pass daily with the most beautiful clothing
If you're up for an hour drive from Litchfield, this is a must-stop home and garden shop
Another hour-ish drive from Litchfield, you'll find Creel and Gow in Millbrook (they also have a spot in the city!)
I've sourced so many amazing things from here over the years, family run, endlessly chic
*Montage is in Millerton, a little drive from Litchfield, but worth the trip! Check out our Hudson Valley guide here
