Pair of 19th Century Swedish Rococo Painted Open Armchairs
| A charming pair of 19th Century Swedish Rococo open armchairs. Withelegant pierced splats and shaped backs framed by sweeping open arms above generously proportioned seats. The later painted frames retain a beautifully timeworn surface with soft, worn highlights and traces of earlier paint. Raised on cabriole legs and united by stretchers. Upholstered in a neutral textile, these chairs are ready to place within an interiors scheme and would work beautifully flanking a console, beside a fireplace or as occasional seating in a bedroom. Circa 1830. --- Height: 108cm Width: 61cm Depth: 65cm |
